چکیده

Spinal cord injury (SCI) is well known as a severely disabling that can result in long-term neurological impairment and great impact on the social economic aspects of patients. To investigate controversy regarding Stem Cell Transplantation treatment modality to alleviate devastating effect Cord Injury, we performed literature research according PRISMA guidelines through Pubmed, Cochrane, EMBASE Library find studies about SCI its stem cell management October 20th, 2020 with keywords "stem transplantation" OR "spinal mesenchymal cell" "treatment" AND injury" "traumatic spinal injury") "outcome“. The search was filtered include clinical human last 5 years' publication period written English only. A total 15 non-duplicate citations were found. 14 articles remained after title abstract screening. Ten are excluded from this study because they do not contain any outcomes interest. Four selected for systematic review. 72 patients included review 4 prospective cohort studies. Most classified their status based ASIA (American Injury Association) classification quantifying severity. In conclusion, transplantation yielded satisfactory results comparison conventional Future longer terms should be cement validity finding.

Urodynamic Parameters in Spinal Cord Injury-Induced Neurogenic Bladder Rats after Stem Cell Transplantation: A Narrative Review

Neurogenic bladder (NGB) secondary to spinal cord injury (SCI) is accompanied with several complications such as urinary tract deterioration, urinary incontinence, and consequently lower quality of life (QoL), significant morbidities, and occasionally death. Current therapeutic methods have some side effects and there is no treatment for the upper urinary tract injuries. Stem cell therapy is a ...

Cell Transplantation for Spinal Cord Injury: A Systematic Review

Cell transplantation, as a therapeutic intervention for spinal cord injury (SCI), has been extensively studied by researchers in recent years. A number of different kinds of stem cells, neural progenitors, and glial cells have been tested in basic research, and most have been excluded from clinical studies because of a variety of reasons, including safety and efficacy. The signaling pathways, p...

Neural stem/progenitor cell transplantation for spinal cord injury treatment; A systematic review and meta-analysis.

Despite the vast improvements of cell therapy in spinal cord injury treatment, no optimum protocol has been developed for application of neural stem/progenitor cells. In this regard, the present meta-analysis showed that the efficacy of the neural stem/progenitor cell (NSPC) transplantation depends mainly on injury model, intervention phase, transplanted cell count, immunosuppressive use, and p...

Repair of Spinal Cord Injury by Co-Transplantation of embryonic Stem Cell-Derived Motor Neuron and Olfactory Ensheathing Cell

Background: The failure of regeneration after spinal cord injury (SCI) has been attributed to axonal demyelination and neuronal death. Cellular replacement and white matter regeneration are both necessary for SCI repair. In this study, we evaluated the co-transplantation of olfactory ensheathing cells (OEC) and embryonic stem (ES) cell-derived motor neurons (ESMN) on contused SCI. Methods: OEC...
